there are so many stories to tell in Wakanda and characters to build upon that moving forward with a sequel made sense.

Black Panther remains one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s best entries so it came as no surprise that a sequel was subsequently announced.

Marvel later confirmed that the sequel would move ahead with the title Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,

Boseman’s role as T’Challa would not be recast. Filming on the sequel recently drew to a close

The actor said Boseman left an undeniable void, but "at the same time, life things don't just end.

It's not like, ‘Well, that's that's happened, so we just all have to go off and never do it again.’"

Martin Freeman, who reprises his role as Everett K. Ross, recently spoke to Collider about making the sequel without Boseman.

Freeman had nothing but good things to say about his experience making the film.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be released in theaters on November 11, 2022.
